The Kirra Surfriders Club today announced that Gold Coast based surfwear brand Rhythm has signed
on as naming rights sponsor for the world’s largest interclub
surfing contest.

The Rhythm Kirra Teams Challenge, to be held over the 5th, 6th and 7th of February 2010 will see 36 clubs from across the country compete for the prestigious title of Australia’s best board riders club.
2010 will see the iconic event run for its 26th consecutive year and is again scheduled to coincide with the east coast’s best swell window.
“It is a real honour for Rhythm to be part of such an iconic event” - said Rhythm Brand Manager - Jamahl Grey. “Over the past 25 years the Kirra Surfriders have successfully proven the Teams Challenge to be the best event of its kind in the world and we look forward to working with the club to build on this great tradition.”

Event coordinator John Robin said: “We are just so stoked to have Rhythm on-board as naming rights sponsor for the next 3 years and hopefully beyond. Their branding, style and approach is a perfect fit for our event”.
